<description>Great post. I am one of developers who became so excited about iPhone, left the current job and founded a new company to build applications strictly for iPhone. Therefore, having this kind of dialog really helps me.

By the way, I am wondering if you guys are interested in participating our beta program (of iPhone applications). What we are looking for is not only usability feedback, but also competitive analysis, marketing suggestions or even business suggestions. I know that VCs usually don't deal with non-portfolio companies, but I also know that VCs are not actively funding start-ups either under this climate.

Participating in the beta program (of not only us, but also other iPhone start-ups) does not cost anything (besides a few minutes of your time), it allows you to see us and our products before you even consider us a candidate to meet.

From my point of view, I much prefer to spend my time in developing software and building business, rather than spending my time fund-raising under this financial climate. This is why I am proposing this approach.

If you are interested in, please send me the device ID(s) of your iPhone/iPod touch. I will send you two new applications we are developing (along with a short description of our business strategy around it, if you are interested in it too ;-).

Regards,
Satoshi Nakajima, President Big Canvas Inc.
